You + Me = Breakup

by Mikaela DLC   Oct 12, 2009

Your old baseball caps,
Scattered on the cold floor,
Pictures of bright colors,
Weren't as colorful as before.

Red roses you sent for me,
Dried and wilted so quickly,
Our washed up faces printed an error,
Our crumpled hearts aren't as innocent anymore.

Wax candles lit, for us to somehow melt.
Our previous fight left a horrible mess,
Your confession could be for better or for worse,
And after this sixteenth song,
I won't be back 'til I get what I truly deserve.
