Tears help sometimes

by steeviie   Oct 12, 2009

A droplet rolled down my face
not knowing wheather it was rain
or me sobbing all over again

i let it fall free, i wanted my emotions out the door
my heart started to pound, as the sky started to pour

i stood there stiff and cold, i couldn't move a bone
crying my heart out i had always been an unknown

the rain sudently stopped and the blankets of clouds
moved away, the sun emerged as my eyes grew wide
it had no longer appeared or felt that i even cried
i layed head on the grass and reflected on the past
it's funny how many thing's we go through so fast

i never thought crying could improve my life
i couldn't bare to pick up another knife

with new feelings that never circled my body before
i decided to only think about thing's that i adore

I liked it. it flowed together and the rhyming was good. nice work, good poem. and i'm glad you adore things now and crying does help release all that we have inside.
