More Than a Friend Tonight (Freestyle)

by Chloe Johnson   Oct 16, 2009

The rain falls gently on the roof
So quiet, yet not creating
Enough noise for my mind
To occupy the catastrophe in my head.
I close my eyes
And I fall into you.
Your thoughts are possessing me
Not a damn thing I can do.
The fire is burning
But I feel so cold
Hold me close to you
Never let me go.
I've been living in such a dark place
Leafless trees margin a curved road.
The scene is black and white
I'm left with no where to go.
Yet when you are around
Such as you are now
I see pure beauty in all the grace
It can possibly be.
Imagine feeling warmth
As if it's the first time
Seeing a heavenly existence
Only you and I can find.

This was a pretty nice flow. It was well put together I must say. Also, you did an amazing job with your choice of vocabulary; not too complex, yet saying so much. I gave this a 5. It was well deserved.

    Keep writing.
