Life was slow and steady.
Calm and absolute.
Cold and unloved.
A whisper of thought.

Living life in a silenced shadow.
A name I will come to live by.
Given by that one who cares.
Her silence.

Stepping through my shadow,
There she stood.
Beauty, the embodiment of it.
Shining and radiant.

The ache in my chest no longer there.
Able to breathe easier.
