Just sat up to not one missed call
no text, no voice mails nothing at all
waited so long for what i thought was right
only to loose my heart In the Heat of the Night
writing again releases so much of this pain
my battle is that i have loved i lost and now have nothing to gain
lies, betrayal, deceit who actually knows
but I'm starting to think Thats the Way Love Goes
no one told me that romantically loving would be hard
but yet no one bothered to give me an easy card
tired of fighting the fact that no one understands
yet they require that you meet all of their demands
so alone in this world so I've decided to form my own
why not a fantasy world that cant be cloned
it'll be my special place where there'll be no hurt and pain
smiles everyday and no such thing as rain
sadly I'll have to open my eyes one day
And I'll realize that happiness is never here to stay
I'll just scurry back to life to build more walls
