Mary Jane

by Of Sweet Insanity   Oct 21, 2009

Dirty words that promise love
Swear to God, but don't care much
Put my foot hard on the ground
Heart to heart, I've had enough.

I'd bet there's not a single scar.
I'm Vegas baby. Party hard.
Not an ounce of anything true,
Nothing left but who you aren't.

I gave my all and got the reward.
I've become a reputational whxre.
Another face you're eyes can't see.
I don't know what I loved you for.

Another name, another face.
Addicted to him like Mary Jane.
Metalic torture to guide me out,
Fxck the sun and give me rain.

How to hurt you, plot revenge
Fighting with fire, lose or win.
Hate you hate you hate you.. But..
The sight of you breaks me down again.

Two different paths, two different hurts.
The prettiest trail or the one that burns?
Blazing fire, it's just what I need.
I love him and you love her.

Fresh new skin over bruised up veins.
Looks like heaven, but poisonous taste.
Acidic veins like my first hit of meth.
My high is gone and my drug is pain.

Amazingly written with so many powerful words. I loved the end stanza the most
"Fresh new skin over bruised up veins.
Looks like heaven, but poisonous taste.
Acidic veins like my first hit of meth.
My high is gone and my drug is pain."
Very good job, flawless, 5/5 from me. Em.
