One glance

Night dims day
Swallows light whole
Casting shadows
Til shadows walk and
Vanish into night
Sleep walks and talks
Conjuring death himself
Closer and closer
He appears
Rising into view
Raging hunger reflected
In crimson eyes
Battered lips call me
Into his blood stained arms
Hands stenched by death envelope me
As I near death
Fear eats away all hope
Tearing it apart
Diminishing it into tiny fragment
Devouring all remains
Of strength
Crimson eyes tell all
One glance says all
With no words concieved
His eyes say one thing
HUNGER
All fades away
All of life
Darkness finishes off all light
Chokes away the hope
All stands still
Time stops
Heart pounds
Death conquers life
Crimson red stains
Pearly whites
And with that
All is gone
All my life
One glance stole it all
Crimson eyes
Was all it took

I wanted to comment on this one because it looked lonely not being commented on. this was really deep and i can't really understand everything, but i like where you seem to be going with it. this part was one of my favorites. especially as the opening liner. "Night dims day
    Swallows light whole
    Casting shadows
    Til shadows walk and
    Vanish into night"
    great job! :)
