And I Do try for You.

Love. Joy. Pain.

Each a symbol of life
Of what could have been
Once upon a fairytale time.

Pain. Emptiness. Death.

Falling through abyss and chasm
Through fire and water and veils
That slowly draw themselves to a close,
Fragmented petals of a dying rose.

Paper hearts and daisy chains
Mean something different to the
People who only change.

Differ comes to those who wait
To finally see beyond barred gates,
To view a life, better left unsaid,
Or a world that messes in our heads.

Love will come to those who hear
The horn calls, feel the violent fear
As it builds up like a scream, inside;
Love only works for those who try.

And I do try for you.
