Eleven Months.

Eleven Months.

The world is full of problems,
Dying and the like
And though we're not affected
I still can't ride a bike.

Many people lie
And enjoy saying "me" alot
While others only get by
If they're driving on five knots.

Though there are these types
And, to be completely realistic,
There only are these types,
But we, we are quite individualistic.

You and I are one thing
And the realistic are another
When they ask "who am I"
The topic is some other.

I love the light in your eyes
And every time you smile
I just wish I could gather it in a jar
So it would last a longer while.

Time and distances are such b itches
They're teasing us today
But soon we'll be in each other's arms
And have quite not much to say.

You and I are one thing
And they are another,
When you ask "whom am I"
Today, the answer is love,
Everything else is an illusion
Except for us. <3

-This was written for my boyfriend and mine eleventh month together (yes we celebrated months haha :D).

First stanza: I seriously cannot ride a bike.

Second stanza: My boyfriend does this thing where he counts how many times people refer to themselves while speaking.

Third stanza: We're individuals. Trust me, if you saw us one day down the street you would instantly know us, we stand out that much.

Fourth stanza: When people ask who they are different conversations and topics then ensue..

Fifth stanza: I love him.

Sixth stanza: I was away on holiday overseas when I wrote this, so far away D; .

Seventh stanza: When we were in Ireland I saw a quote written on a wall, it said "when you ask who am I the answer is love, everything else is just an illusion" it inspired me. I thank whoever wrote it.

Haha i love you randomness. random different topics all flowing into eachother.

When you ask "whom am I"
    Today, the answer is love,
    Everything else is an illusion
    Except for us. <3

-perfectly describes how it feels to be in love
