My still child

by Ebony   Oct 28, 2009

When you entered the world
you became cold and still
your body didn't want to work
your heart was tired and couldn't pump
your eyes close
your voice silent
your ears not hearing
me call your name
you don't stir
you don't move
i start to relies
no life in you
no warmth from you
no hope in me
you became my still child
my still baby
I'm sorry.

This is a truly sad thing as i imagined a still baby the whole time and with each line i couldnt help but feel a bit sadder. A short but sweet poem nice work
