Why?

Why?
Such a beautiful character, such a beautiful creature/
And a beautiful smile, on top of beautiful features/
But why do u hide your heart prisoner in a cage/
And the only time u let it express itself is when your enraged/
The rest of the time it seems so heavily guarded/
So that way, there's no chance to become broken hearted/
And that guard raised up makes it hard for you to see/
That there's someone there to love you and that someone is me/
It's movie love like we see on the big screen/
I'll try to mean what i say, and also say what i mean/
Sometimes i sit thinking, racking my brain/
To find a way to show you that I'll never cause you pain/
I wanna take you to a place a million miles high/
Cause i know it'll make you happy.. but all you do is push me away and say. "Why"?

    I adore this poem. Honestly, I'm not 2 fond of he way it was written. Like I love stanza's but that's my fault. I limit myself 2 viewing most poetry like that and that's not fair when I read it. It's not fair 2 the author. I am going 2 b completely honest (and mayb cuz I know u lol =P) I did love this poem despite the way it was formatted. (is that the right word 2 use? lol) I liked how u rhymed it all, I think ppl would get a better feel of the rhyming if u broke it up but that's just me still being narrow minded. The choice is still completely up 2 u. But over all I really did love this poem. Oh and p.s. who the heck was this written 4? O.o ... O.O ... ;P lol =P
