Bound

by Black Heart Still Beating   Nov 8, 2009

Bound together where our hearts.
but you seemed content to tear them apart.
Now I have to jump-start
the little scraps that are my heart.

You hands stained a sad tinted red.
This must be what its like to watch the dead.
Out of the two broken hearts, mines the one that bled.
After I gathered the pieces I just fled.

As I left the seen of the crime.
I looked back and meet you eyes, they slow time.
Those eyes I always thought where sublime.
As I looked at them, the pools of green turned to slime.

So I run as fast as I can, to get away I must run.
now all I want is to take that gun
For I feel as if my life is done.
I always thought you where the one.

So I leave your cold embrace,
as I stumble and fall from grace.
I saw you deface,
this thing called my heart, right in front of my face.
the pain still doesn't seem out of place.
