A village

by Jay Perry Jr   Nov 8, 2009

With no one to call my own
I'm just a mere man sadly alone
with no one to help me plant these seeds
I'm just one man trying to grow a billion trees
with no one to sew my clothes
I'm just a naked man in the cold
with no one to fix my food
I'm just a working man with extra things to do
with no one to hold me when I'm down
I'm just a unloved man on the ground
with no one to communicate with
I'm just a mute man bored and stiff
with no one to have my kids
I'm just one man trying to create a village
that wont ever be created alone
until i have you to call my own
