MONSTER

Each day I wake up
And each night I sleep
but every moment I live
Is another second I weep

Maybe it's not
quite visible to you
but I'm drowning in my pain
and do not know what to do

I try so hard to laugh
I try to force a smile
but all I can manage is to crumble
As I crawl "Life's" every mile

I look into my eyes
but nothing can I see
who is this monster
that's becoming "me"...
