Cliche Sad Songs

Late at night in bed
Cliche sad songs run through my head
"Is this all that's left, is this real?"
Wondering if there's another way to deal

The night pours of God's heavy tears
Wondering if anymore our prayers he hears
"Lost and broken, hopeless and lonely"
Save my family, kill me only

I just don't want to live anymore
Don't listen to me, for me just ignore
Thunder breaks on this cold night
"Holding tears back with all my might"

"Hold on if you feel like letting go"
What if I don't want to? My heart sinks so low
Falling asleep with my cliche sad songs
Feeling hopeless, for this world I don't belong

    I think everyone has a certain type of music or song they listen to when there heartbroken or alone, even me haha It may be cliche but if its helped you through your first lonely night or first heartbreak then it'll get you through the second thats for sure. Its funny how right before we sleep as soon as were alone in our beds thats when the pain feels the worst. Excellent job 5/5 Thanks for the great comment by the way :)

    Wow.... I don't know how it's possible for you to h8 your poems, this was really good, kinda short... were the "quotation marks" quotes from songs, or song titles? if so that was a hot idea... I might steal that from you. LOL j/k
