Halinor's Suicide Prt.2

by Mikaela DLC   Nov 15, 2009

But, One day while walking to school,
I predicted it was just going to be a boring day,
So I just strided and swayed recklessly,
As I sang along to Vanessa Hudgen's, "Gotta Go My Own Way".

Then, I saw a girl in front of a dead tree,
Carving something in quiet secrecy.

My shoelaces then snapped as I swaggered about,
So I crouched down to fix its strings,
And as I stood up, I screamed aloud.
I was so shocked with what I've seen.

There was blood dripping from her wrists,
Her neck dislocated and traces of tears were marked on the nearby trees.
She was wearing a contented smile,
And eyes with a glare so spooky.

By hanging herself on an old and hallowed tree,
So at last, For once in her life she could finally be happy.
It was to finish her own heartbeat and let go of her breath,
Carved on that tree were the words, "Take me oh Angel of Death".

She thought at first,
That she was all alone,
With her hanged body,
Drizzled in thick blood.

Yet, I cannot pretend not to see,
That "Miss Invisible",
Hanged herself in Youngster's creek.

Gloom shrouded all over,
I knelt to the ground, wept and shivered.
I desperately wish I could've stopped her,
But, does that mean...

That I hinder herself,
From her long-awaited peaceful slumber??
