Colors Fade

I have remorse.
You never deserved me. I cannot except you or your words. I am just too selfish to ever let go. A blur in my eyes and my foggy lungs direct me to my bed. Colors fade and sounds wash away.

Tell my heart to calm. It always relaxes in your touch. My nerves seem to ease and stress is no longer an enemy.
I'm no beauty.
I only let you down.
I feel sympathy for you because you are with me. You could have a stress-free life and be happy... But you are with me.
