Gone

by Ashley   Nov 23, 2009

Hanging by the rope,
she saw the love I had for her,
she realized she wanted me,
she saw her life flash before her eyes.
But there was nothing she could do,
her feet weren't touching the floor anymore.
She was losing breath.
she didn't realize she always had me,
until she left,
until she let it go.
She saw her family.
She knew I would find her,
and I did.
Her eyes were cold,
no love for me.
Dead,
just like her,
what to do...
she killed herself.
She gave up on everything,
she gave up on me.
She saw me before she took her last breath,
but she was too far gone to save herself.
Hanging by her neck,
she finally realized her life was worth living,
but it was too late.
Now I only have the memories to keep her.
She is gone now,
but we all learned,
we really do have more than we think,
you never know what you got till it's gone...
do you?
Hanging by her throat,
that's the only time she felt sorrow for anyone.
Selfish love,
that's what we had,
she didn't even realize it was love until she was killing herself.

    Sorry to hear that;
    Love hurts __
And sometimes to the most extraordinary levels.
