Dot Dot Curve

by Megan Sue   Nov 23, 2009

It's time to disappear
Somewhere in the clear.
The sun will rise at dawn,
And we'll be moving on;
Our shadows will find us here.

Tiptoeing soldiers in fields;
The warriors that carry shields.
Still in a war,
But the world wanted more;
Only wanting the scars healed.

And just like the soldiers in fight,
I wanted my baby for one more night.
Take my hand, we can float away.
Kiss my lips, it'll be okay.
Love me , & prepare for flight.

Far away from the past,
Not every memory can be forgotten so fast.
False hopes ad broken hearts,
Picking up the missing parts,
Only to find, what was my first, might be my last.

Before I fall in deep and quick,
I'll still have the landing to stick.
And in the night, before I wake;
You're heart is what I'll dream to take,
But never dream to break.
