Perfect, no more.

by desiree   Nov 24, 2009

Mommy and Daddy, I am sorry to say.
I can not go back to my old ways.
Your expectations for me, are far to high.
All your lectures make me want to break down and cry.

I can not bring home the grades I used to,
And my behavior is only because of the things you do.
I try my best, which apparently is not enough.
Stop trying to make me a perfect child and such.

Mommy and Daddy, this is me.
I can not and will not change my ways.
I'm still your little girl,
I'm just perfect no more.
