Good bye Dad.

by Katrina   Nov 26, 2009

If I could see you..
I'd tell you I hate you.
You weren't there for my first broken heart.
To guide me out the pain.
You were to busy with your so called life.
The life filled to the brim with drugs and alcohol.
You forgot you even had me.
The last thing i remember you saying to me was eff you.
No dad.. I never did anything Wrong. It was you.
You had to choose Your drug induced life over me.
It was your choice to have me in your life. You chose Prison. I hope your happy with your decision. You lost me for good. and if your reading this There is some sick sick Part of me that still loves you. Not enough to ever take you back. EVER! So this is my good bye.

I like your poem, its sad, but I relate. My dad is a drug addict too and he chose it over me. It hurts a lot. Almost everyday. I'm glad you said goodbye. It's probably better off not to let him in again.

Wow!!! I feel like i saw Blue powder just now... The father was never there for his daughter.Until he was released from jail and went to go see him after only being given a short time to live..
Write more!! I want to read more of your juicy words whether pain or joy my mind is hungry for more 5/5

Some decisions can't be hard but this one shouldn't have been your Dad should never have chosen drugs & booze over you but he obviously did & it was obviously the wrong choice. Maybe you're better off without him in your life no matter how hard it does seem without him there. Well done, 5/5. Em
