Hate.

by Black Heart Still Beating   Nov 28, 2009

It consumed me today,
Boiled my blood.
Burned my heart.
Heated my soul.
It took over,
I lost all control.

So it festered
and it grew.
it made me turn into
someone like you.

I couldn't hit you,
So I hit the wall.
It didn't budge,
but it dented me.
So all alone,
I bled and cried
A very big part
of me died.

Only you and I,
know why,
you make me mad.
Your such a good actor.
no one believes you could ever
be that mean to me.
I hate that spark of cunning I see in your eyes.

Today I let it consume me.
Didn't say a word as it boiled my blood.
Not once did I scream as it burned my heart.
Never made a sound as my soul heated.

When it seemed as if all your
insults had depleted,
I said some words that were really mean,
I wouldn't take them back,
not in my wildest dreams.

Don't be offended.
Just remember hate you.
