Inside jokes and late nights

by Emily   Nov 29, 2009

Friends for 6 months, it's felt like 60 years
We've shared laughter, drinks, and a few tears
Stayed out past one, slept til noon
Watched chick flicks all day, jammed to country tunes

It's been a few months, I've already seen our friendship grow
And incase I didn't have time to tell you yet I just want you to know
Theres bee a void in my heart for plenty of time
It was there but not known, I told everyone I was fine

Then you walked into my life and opened my eyes
Whatever I was missing I didnt realize
You were just like me in so many comparable ways
We grew so quickly and talked every day

I was missing true friendship, but i have that in you
I love the inside jokes and late nights, I love doing what we do
