An evening tune

by waiting for the unknown   Dec 1, 2009

Through the willow tree,
I can see the night.
Where midnight's glow
Over yonder doth show,
A humbled mercy oh so bright.

The stars compose a joyful hymm.
A forever silent chord.
Not a sound--
Yet the angelic song within eventide,
is sweetly heaven-bound.

Goodnight my beloved darling.
I shall see thee in the morn.
And if you need the extra strength,
from the stars is where hope is born.

Keep your heart within the heavens
keep your love with the tentive moon.
Keep you eyes watching the stars,
And help them sing their tune.
