My dear Cousin

by Willow   Dec 2, 2009

She closes her eyes
And listens carefully.
It can't be real
These words they speak.

She's sitting on the ground,
But it feels so unstable.
It's all too confusing,
It just can't be.

This person she grew up with
Can't do such a thing.
This person she loves
Isn't capable of it.

The more she thinks about it,
The more confused she is.
This monstrous deed
Couldn't have been done by him.

Her heart hurts
Knowing What the rest of the family feel.
It's too much to take in,
Too many words to consume.

She can't stop crying
And the thought makes her sick.
This can't be happening,
Their world is spinning again.

*it's not my best work but it holds everything i feel. my heart is with my cousin at the moment*
