Once upon a snowy winter eve.

by Desperation   Dec 4, 2009

Once upon a time
On a snowy winter eve
A girl no older than twenty
Felt like she shouldn’t be.
She sat in her room
And dreamt of day
Where the snow was melting
And the spring flowers bloomed.
She opened her eyes
And took a look around
She was still in that room
As if chains held her down.
Could she escape?
Could she flee?
The chains bound her
To the place she sees.
Her wrists bleed
And her soul cries
As she silently drifts to sleep
Her soft voice whispers good bye.
