I haven't been on earth long
but long enough to know the pain
and it cuts like a knife
day one was ok but
ever since day two i wont
ever be the same
on day one i was happy
a new born baby thinking
everything would be ok
like when i was in the womb
but man i got a surprise
on day two when reality
started to set in
then days turned to weeks
and weeks turned to months
then months became years
and i felt crushed
i felt cheated like i rather
not be here than be here but
i know I'm here for a reason so
ill take that back and keep breathing
holding on strong and telling the
world although the first time
you punched me i got bruised
but i learned for the
second time around to strike
back standing tall and powerful
living to win and not lose
