This almost brought a tear to my eye probably because of the dedication. Anyways, just absolutely beautiful you may have outdone yourself here...I think this is one of those poems that you love more the more you read it. I must say this poem is wonderful.

This is so beautiful. Best gift anyone could get. Could feel love and emotions spilling from every single word.

    Really loved this opening stanza

Will you follow where I lead
If so come take my hand
    Spend eternity with me
    Walk across the desert sands

    awesome write dear

all the best and take care

Sweet Cindy, this is a heartfelt write to John. I'm sure he can sense the beauty of these words as you wrote them.
The imagery of nature that you used, eventually witnessing the reunion of two hearts, added a nice and expected touch to the poem.

I'm utterly sure John would love this if he read it. A 5 for me dear lady.

Cindy, what a beautiful dedication you penned here for John. The sadness in every word came from a just as beautiful heart.
I'm sure he knows what you feel deep inside for him and one day you will be able to express these words in person to him.
    Take care my friend.

I love how beautiful this poem was crafted. It's just filled with full of sincere and your words paints a loving image full of serenity. How pure can romantic be, to depart from this earth and let your heart beat together with your love as one. I just love how you end the poem. No doubt this is like the best dedication that I've read so far and I'm sure he would be proud of you too for writing such a splendid poem. Excellent work
