Frosted Photographs

by Indian Comma Bean   Dec 14, 2009

Little girl, in the winter,
Brings her lens about the snow
Capturing the soul of dust to part,
White freckles in the midnight sky.

Faded sunlight
Captured by lucid walls
Shows it's warmth upon the iced sand,
Lights her path upon the photograph.

Curious eyes, a perched grin,
A twitch of the finger
The process begins,
A memory unfolds, a piece is born
A time to be captured,
The silence is torn.
