Til Death Do Us Unity

by Colby   Dec 22, 2009

She stands
Silently
Her eyes grow on you
While the wind brushes her silk hair
The back of your hand
Melting
As your fingers caress her cheek
She adverts my gaze
Begging for the taste of lips
Closer
Magnetized now
Closer
She is in my arms
My heart steals my thoughts
Leaving my mind blank
Words
Evaporate off my tongue
Our intertwined grasp speaks louder
Are you...Mine?
No
She says
We are one
The whispering wind
begins to roar
Calling my name -- Our names
One last glance
Into each others gracious eyes
Then darkness descends
My eyes open
Illuminating
Still reflecting hers
A different world
Our world
