His Fulfillment

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 25, 2009

Midnight strikes as harmonizing bells sound
the hour of rejoicing has at last come
let us make merry and sing Hallelujah.

Golden angels awake with haste
dancing down friendly halls
carrying a joyful message.

Trunks of faithful elders embrace
their tops happily shaking hands
spreading divine unity to all.

The mighty Voice of the One
whispers willingly about a promise
beginning with salvation for mankind.

Buoyant spirits generously exhale
songs giving out glory and praise
to the deserving Creator of life.

Sunlight fills twilight skies
transforming night into day
making the earth breathe anew.

Orange hues color over darkness
writing hope past thick clouds
no longer must we hide.

Peace will show its true essence
starting with a humble birth
of the saving Child Jesus.

Loyal and trustworthy followers
no longer must you sit waiting
for your Savior has arrived.

Guardians play their harps
while shepherds enter from afar
drumming thunders 'neath the ground.

This silent and worthy night
our world is sent in holy flames
burning with His perpetual love.

The triumphant Mouth of God
sweeps through our human hearts
living forever inside of us.

I was inspired to write this when I was sitting on my bed, Christmas morning just past midnight, and I noticed the twilight sky was golden. I thought, Heaven's dining halls must have lit up and everyone is laughing and rejoicing. The light kept getting stronger and stronger and it was like a miracle to me, how in the middle of the night a light could dominate the darkness. What a message.
God bless you all this Christmas, thanks for reading!
