A Vibrant Tint of Friendship

by Anthony Vasconez   Jan 5, 2010

Inside a cold body, exposed walls of my life
which you dared to enter, bringing forth colors of rife

The vibrant tints were painted on my walls in swirls
Showing signs of wit and charm from a different world

So precious the combined colors appeared to be
Creating patterns of warmth within humanity

With loving concerns, you added warmth and relief
As the tepid paints shifted my body's inner grief

I now look upon these exposed walls of my life
Wondering how I allowed them to build with such strife

Remembering just how dreary these walls have been
So I would like to thank you for being that true friend
