Sonnet 1

by CrossMyHeartAndHopeToDie   Jan 6, 2010

Love goes as so: neither movie, nor play,
Nor your expectations, nor desires,
But fact, not what they wrongfully portray:
Happy endings and love that never tires.
Filled with her own share of disappointments
Taking what to him does not belong:
Lives of innocent lovers, broken hearts,
Leaving others behind, but not for long.
Theres hope, for love shall spread her wings once more
Beautiful in every way possible
Carrying with her faith and hope galore
Giving to those whose hearts is quite able
Love no longer wishes to be regret
Lovely she is, for all, a grand prospect.
