No matter how long ago it was since I last saw you.
No matter how long it will be since you were gone.
Never will your presence disappear.
Never will your love be doubted.
Always there that we love you.
Always there that we care.
Still will you be the man with the toolbox.
Still will you be watching over us with a smile.

The one difference is...
You'll be watching from up above,
Instead of viewing us from right here.

* Written over a year ago, when my grandfather had died. I didn't get a chance to see him before he passed away, since he was in the Philippines and I was here in Canada. I just found this now, and thought I should post it up. So feel free to comment away, I will not get offended nor will I find the comments demeaning if its constructive. btw, he was obsessed with his toolbox.
