Afterlife

by Timothy   Jan 7, 2010

So cold, so dark,
No time left to make your mark;
No trace of heat, nor light,
Every day after, nothing but night.

The fire forever turned to ice,
The new world left to the deity's device;
Rusty chains dragged with weary kinfolk,
The damned held within the yolk.

Many men had once scoffed at the idea of the Creator,
But the Almighty is now the teacher;
It's unimaginable, this horrendous strife,
But it's the price to pay for wickedness...in the afterlife.
