Missing you

by Little Lisa   Jan 7, 2010

No one will ever be able to replace,
A smile that only you could put on this face.

The beating of your heart made my world stand still,
Happiness that seemed completely surreal.

Feelings that we both couldn't ignore,
A simple kiss left me wanting more.

Will always be heartbroken that you are gone,
But wanting nothing but the best as you move on.

I like how specifically the descriptions apply to the person your writing about. "smile only you could put on this face"
i smile for lots of people there is a very certain smile that i only have when sharing senses and words with my special someone. very nice.
the ending is one of those soo sad but at least some closure feelings. those hopeful wishes for the person's well being who is gone are the only things that make their depart bearable.
    love it.
