We're A Team

Our friendship is strong and never ending, until the day you find me shedding.
I will not cry until your gone, for then I will know I was wrong.
I knew you were there but wasn't sure, if I was there to be your cure.
I helped you up when you were down, and you saved my life before I drowned.
I thought my life was falling down, but it was just turning around.
Never realizing what was true, I finally saw you were blue.
I knew what I did was clearly bad, and had to change it by making you glad.
With an empty head there I lay, trying to come up with a brand new way.
It seemed so easy, but a bit too cheesy.
And now I wish I had taken the time, to tell you how I felt inside.
So as you see, I am sorry as can be.
I hope one day you see what I mean, and realize that we are a team.
