Suspended Stars And Sordid Scars

by Indian Comma Bean   Jan 11, 2010

Dreary lilacs hinder
Creeping nostalgia awoken
From beneath the pages of my
Photographs,
Forgotten keepsakes of yesteryears
Dusty tears,
Tears for all I once believed in,
Wasted on a clock's reprise;
Withered petals accrue,
Faded thoughts alleviate
Agonizing heartbeats,
Beating for a staggering
Love story, soaked in formaldehyde;
If only shall the sun rise,
It sprouts a newborn from my blood,
Rests a weary harvest moon,
So one day, you too
May reap my lonesome tune.
