Depth of water.

by Black Heart Still Beating   Jan 14, 2010

I can't breath.
The waters to cold.
It takes my air,
as I try to scream.
Stupid, stupid me.
I'll be dead,
for the rest of
eternity.
My vision starts
to fade.
The shadows
creeping in.
The last thing
I see,
the sun on the waves
dancing over me,
then I'm to
deep
and
they
fade
as
well.

Fare-
well

I actually quite enjoyed this, you do feel the urgency of the words as they get fewer and fewer and they become more poignant and intriguing to the reader as it happens.

I think it's very raw, not quite mastered yet.
