Arguements

by BrokenAngel FallenFiend   Jan 15, 2010

Arguments the same,
Although the words may change.
The silence like the chill of death,
Waiting for a voice I hold my breath.
Yelling is a better reason for my tears,
The quiet just confirms my fears.
Thoughts are brewing in your head,
Words float around better left unsaid.
Nothing I say will change your mind,
A waste of breath, a waste of time.
Stubborn as mules the two of us,
All boils down to one thing, Lack of trust.
You don't trust me to be there when alls said and done,
I don't trust you to change; don't want to love on the run.
Both refusing to give anything at all,
Scared to death we'll see the other fall,
Into a life of foul disgrace, our love for each other just a waste.
Circumstances given, things won't work,
In the shadows of our minds, Questions still lurk.
Not knowing the outcome of this argument,
Sins committed, needing to repent.
Angry words thrown into the air,
Said like there was never even a care.
Not knowing what to believe,
Or what this argument was meant to achieve.
Ending the same way it began,
Hoping this relationship gets the best that it can.
Because our arguments are growing old,
And it's getting tiresome, this we've both been told.
Is there an ending somewhere in sight?
I hope so because I'm too sick to fight.
