Walking through the dark
Carrying the gun
That voice in your head
It's only just begun

Shaking your head side to side
Tears blur your vision
The mute gunshot sounds
You carry out your mission

Closing you eyes to the sight
Remembering your last dream
His body hits the ground
A scream, a scream, a scream

Sneaking the gun to your skull
But the voice stops you cold
You slowly return to the dark
Doing exactly what you're told ..

    I love the last line of this stanza, its perfect the way you repeated it three times. Hearing voices in your head? Maybe not the best thing but a great muse for a poem. Well done Renee :)
