Little Star

by Mike   Jan 19, 2010

Livin' in the world today is taking it's toll
Every midnight I take a memory's stroll
Cant make it to the end without starting to cry
Sit with me and lets see if you think just as me

Watch the sky go black in midday
See hatred in all the watchers
As black as nothing a twinkle of a single star dim and far made its way
No one wonders we all know what you are

As a toy I lived as a tool for you and her
how dare you ask why anger begins to stir
Losing thoughts made from your lies
If life was a lie was I created from both of yours?

Livin' in the world today is taking it's toll
Every midnight I take a memory's stroll
Can't make it to the end without starting to cry
Sit with me and let's see if you think just as me

Little star please get brighter I'm starting to go blind
It's cold where I am and your glow is warm
I'll keep walking on the path that I think leads right to you
I'll make it little star don't worry it's my own personnel storm

Broken by words that you don't even understand yourself
Your the hatred in my head, Was it you who cast this permanent night?
Tell me girl your no happier then I, I'm just waste isn't that right?
I have what I need tell me you don't believe, look in my eyes and the answer you'll read

always my eagle pointing me right keeping up high in it's flight
Yes my little star that glows in the night, In the end it will all be right

Livin' in the world today is taking it's toll
Every midnight I take a memory's stroll
Can't make it to the end without starting to cry
Sit with me and let's see if you think just as me
