Have you seen this man?

by Phoenixgoddess   Jan 21, 2010

He stole my heart from my chest,
Where is he?
My mind cannot be at rest,
Where could this man be?

He sent shivers down my spine,
And brought warmth to my cheeks.
Have you seen this man?
Can you see what he's done to me?

He spoke with manners of a gentleman,
And plastered a smile on my face.
I need to find this man,
I'll do whatever it takes.

He placed a kiss upon my lips,
And my body went limp.
What has happened to him?
I haven't even caught a glimpse.

He touched me, looked at me,
And this strange sensation came over me.
I felt like I melted, time stopped,
Tell me where this man is, please.

I've searched almost everywhere,
I repeatedly get hurt trying to find him.
Man after man, loss after loss,
Am I searching on a whim?

Am I dreaming?
Does this man really exist?
If you see him or if he sees this,
Speak to me, please, do not resist.

I speak of a man of chivalry,
If you are not him, do not speak to me.
I will not speak to you,
So please leave me be.
