No Sunshine Breaks

by Rachel RTVW   Jan 27, 2010

Subconscious digs so deep
Dreams disturb much needed sleep
Disguised a familiar silhouette
Vivid so one may not forget

Haunted soul torments the mind
Sense of security, hard to find
Unfathomable, the depths of pain
No sunshine breaks torrential rain

Purpose sought but tis unknown
Surrounded by people yet still alone
Leave the past, make a new start
Sorrow has engraved this heart

Moving on don't look back
Sunny skies dressed in black
Try to keep my head held high
But everyday I wonder why
No sunshine breaks........

Rachel your 2 beginning lines stand out and make the reader feel your words deeply.
3rd line I think you mean "head held high"

This piece is so touching Rachel. I hope your sunshine comes soon my friend ~hugs~
