Fondly gazing
Upon me as I sleep
A kiss on my forehead
Gentle stroke of fingers
Across a blushing cheek

Sweet dreams
Whispered in my ear
Strong arms to hold me
Two entwined as one
Nothing else matters here

The feeling..
It was love......
Can you still hear me?
My angel....
In heaven above

Now reflecting
On the past
The fact that my life
Will never be the same
Acceptance at last

Empty heart
Memories to keep
Rest in peace
My soul mate
In eternal sleep

This poem is dedicated to Bryant Eddie Ortiz the father of 2 of my beautiful children who was murdered on September 21st,2009.

    People who we spend years with and have special bonds with are never really far from our minds or our hearts no matter what. Although they're gone they'll never truly be gone and definately never forgotten. I would say that I'm sorry for your loss but meaningless words have never cured a broken heart :( 5/5
