First step of moving on

I don't miss her!' he announces,
I don't need him here!' she claims,
And yet their thought will tell
It is hard to forget old flames

As she goes about her day,
Unnoticed goes the glazed look in her eyes,
the continue-osity of her sighs
hidden are the tell tales of her broken heart

There's no answer on her cell phone
Where on earth could she be?
he paces his bedroom her picture in his minds eye
uncertain of what he could say

I know that she's not mine!'
he gets up to pace again
What exactly can he do?

I'm doing this!' She decides
this is what i want She sighs a little
not daring to picture the moment
let alone life beyond that!

She loves him,
She know she always will,
But she wants hugs and kisses
just because she walked through the door

Just smiles and jokes throughout an every day
little things, because he loves her and she loves him

I need this!' she proclaims,
I deserve to be Happy she nods
and steels herself to walk away!
