Who'd a thought it'd be this hard
when it's gotta be the right thing
Why is it those moments
that hurt that memories bring

Why when I've let you go
I still think about our time
all the things we could have been
me as yours you as mine

but here we are better off
even though it still hurts
letting go of all we had
all that couldn't work

regardless of the love that's there
