The Divorce

by FindingHarmonyInYurCries   Feb 6, 2010

You can watch and listen,
But you can't intervene.
They say its for the best,
They want to keep it clean.

However, the logic there is lost,
As they continue to fight.
Shes forced to play his games,
Acting like it doesn't effect life.

Its nothing in the end,
The result will be the same.
They will go their separate ways,
Relationship never tame.

Theyll forget about the times,
That used to make them smile.
Theyll run from their past,
Mile after mile.

The kids will eventually grow old,
And therell be no need for contact.
Time will pass right by,
And no longer will they look back.

Its the end of a relationship,
A separation of two.
A divorce with no take backs,
Two lives starting anew.
