Losing you ( death)

by Tempest   Feb 20, 2010

In losing you I lost a piece of my soul,
I've never experienced anything quite so cruel.
Death didn't have a right to take you away,
Now it seems there will never be a brighter day.

They say you're in a better place,
I know I should believe them but it's hard to face.
I want you back here,
but I know, you now don't have to live in fear.
So now the truth I have to accept,
That death took you and I couldn't protect.
