The perfect man

by Holly   Feb 23, 2010

A beautiful boy once told me that I had the most incredible blue eyes.
He said they twinkled like the stars that lit up the darkest skies.
Had a face as soft as a butterflies wing and a heart that showed he cared.
Was raised as a gentleman and to hurt me, he never dared.

He treated me like a lady, like I was one of a kind.
And I'd love it when he'd run up so fast and hug me from behind.
I would listen to his heart beat as my ear lay on his chest.
So happy and thankful that I chose him above the rest.

I was a broken hearted spirit that had been hurt by many others.
But the love I've found, it's perfect; and not one that smothers.
He let's me speak my mind, and allows my emotions to roam free.
I love him with my whole heart, 'cause he accepts me..for me. <3
